To get a better understanding of the execution of Design Thinking, Scott Simon had our staff partner up for a quick hands-on demonstration. Each pair was to take turns and interview each other and find out what their "perfect wallet" would be like. After listening to each other, taking notes, getting feedback, the interviewer will then attempt to make a "prototype" of their partner's perfect wallet using materials provided. Our staff fully enjoyed this workshop and learned a lot from it. ETC is committed to the Design Thinking principles and will be identifying ways to apply it to address challenges to ensure our client's needs are met. It's another way that we can confidently say "We'll take care of it!" Thank you to Scott Simon for an energizing workshop!
ETC staff recently participated in a Design Thinking Workshop led by Scott Simon, founder of the Simon Leadership Group. The process of Design Thinking, developed by the Hasso-Plattner Insitute of Design at Stanford (d.school), is a client-centric approach to problem solving that aims to simply and humanize with the use of 5 steps: Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test.
