Mr. Yee is the Managing Principal of ETC. Over the course of his 30 year career, he has enforced environmental regulations in Washington State and instructed graduate-level public health courses at the University of Hawaii. His duties at ETC include instructing DOT/EPA/OSHA training classes; developing SPCC, NPDES, and EMS plans, permits, and programs; auditing RCRA and TSCA facilities; and providing technical review for preliminary assessments and site investigations, remedial investigations and feasibility studies, and remedial actions. Mr. Yee has a BS from the University of Washington and MPH from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, as well as numerous industry registrations and certifications in the environmental, hazardous materials, and safety profession (CHMM, REP, RSO, RS/EHS).
Mr. Perry possesses 29 years of proven environmental management and construction experience. His experience includes managing remedial and site restoration projects throughout the Pacific Rim including Hawaii, Guam, Saipan, Kwajalein Atoll, and Johnston Island involving compliance with RCRA, CERCLA, TSCA, HMTA, AHERA, and OSHA. Projects Mr. Perry has managed included RCRA TSDF closures, TSCA storage facility closures, UST closures, and hundreds of household hazardous waste and E-Waste collection events. Mr. Perry also performs training as an instructor in DOT Hazardous Material, Hazardous Waste Operation and Emergency Response, Permit-Required Confined Space Entry, Powered Industrial Truck Operations, RCRA Compliance, and Universal Waste Management.
Mr. Tanaka has 25 years of environmental experience. His experiences include environmental enforcement for the Hawaii State Department of Health and environmental consulting for private, military, and local government agencies. His past projects include a wide range of environmental compliance issues including managing storm water programs for Concentrated Animal Feed Operations (CAFO) and Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems (MS4), developing and implementing Environmental Management Systems (EMS), closing and remediating solid waste management facilities, completing environmental audits, classifying soil conditions, and managing asbestos, lead, mold, and other industrial hygiene investigations. Mr. Tanaka received his Bachelor’s degree in Earth Science/Geology from the University of Washington and his post-graduate Professional Diploma from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
Mr. Hamura has 21 years of environmental industry experience, conducting environmental investigations/assessments and providing environmental compliance consulting for private and government Clients. Mr. Hamura’s project experiences include assessment/investigation/remediation oversight for various Brownfields and Voluntary Response Program (VRP) sites, various soil/soil gas/groundwater/sediment investigations and assessments, Environmental Hazard Evaluations/Environmental Hazard Management Plans (EHEs/EHMPs), underground storage tank (UST) closures/release responses, Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit applications and compliance, Spill Pollution Control and Countermeasures (SPCC) Plans, solid waste management permit applications and compliance, and general environmental compliance management consulting. Mr. Hamura received his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Loyola Marymount University and continued with post-graduate coursework in Civil Engineering at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
