Administrative Assistant
(Wailuku, Maui)
EnviroServices & Training Center, a Hawai‘i-owned and operated environmental consulting firm, is seeking a full-time administrative assistant for its Maui office.

Employee must possess the necessary knowledge, education, experience, physical abilities, and communication skills to perform the duties described below:
Responsible for general, administrative, secretarial, reception, and clerical duties.
Coordinate administrative activities which requires frequent contact with executives, staff, clients, the public, government officials, and other agencies; using effective public relations and liaison skills.
Must function with considerable independence and exercise discretion in applying policies and procedures, requiring extensive knowledge of company programs and objectives.
Responsible for the research, compilation, and organization of materials.
Independently research, analyze, and compile information to prepare reports, purchase supplies and equipment, or resolve problems.
Coordinate office functions, training classes, meetings, committees, and special projects.
Participate in public outreach events.
Data entry into database system.
Make travel arrangements for staff.
Track and reconcile invoices and receipts.
Perform contract administration support.
Support staff in execution of their projects.
Track inventory and coordinate maintenance of office, equipment, and vehicles.
Maintain daily functionality of office (track and order supplies, collect and remove trash, maintain adequate water, maintain cleanliness of office and restroom)
Sit and/or stand for 8 hours per day.
Lift heavy objects (40 pounds).
Work closely and in collaboration with ETC’s administrative office located on O‘ahu.
Perform all other duties as needed.
Skills/Requirements:
PC and MS Office proficient
Valid Hawai‘i drivers license and vehicle insurance
Excellent verbal/written communication skills
Customer service oriented
Able to organize and manage multiple priorities
Good interpersonal/communication skills for working with a diversity of people.
Must maintain a sense of responsibility and confidentiality.
Maintain a professional and friendly disposition.
Self-motivated and good use of judgment for setting priorities and meeting deadlines.
