Hazardous Materials Survey

ETC personnel have collectively conducted hundreds of hazardous materials surveys of building and structural components in support of renovation and demolition projects throughout the State of Hawai‘i. We specialize in identifying lead-containing paint, asbestos-containing building materials, and arsenic-containing materials.

Air Monitoring, Clearance Sampling, and Abatement Oversight

During abatement and construction activities, ETC personnel provide air monitoring services to ensure both worker and public safety. Abatement oversight is generally performed to ensure compliance with the technical specifications and abatement contractor work plans. Clearance sampling is performed following completion of hazardous materials abatement.

Abatement Design Specifications

ETC personnel support owners and designers with technical specifications pertaining to the handling and management of hazardous materials. ETC personnel also provide support during the bidding process.
