Entry Level Environmental Scientist/Engineer
EnviroServices & Training Center, a Hawai‘i-owned and operated environmental consulting firm, is seeking a full-time Entry Level Environmental Scientist/Engineer for its Honolulu office.

Employee must possess the necessary knowledge, education, experience, physical abilities, and communication skills to perform the duties described below:
Assist with conducting stormwater inspections of Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) facilities, Industrial activities, and construction activities for compliance with National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit requirements.
Conduct physical inspections of stormwater infrastructure such as outfalls, open channels, and other drainage structures.
Unpack inspection results and prepare technical reports.
Evaluate and synthesize data to identify program improvements.
Participate in public education and outreach events.
Prepare a variety of written, site-specific plans and contract documents to detail project activities and/or to specify requirements for contractors.
Identify both site-specific and programmatic deficiencies in compliance with applicable rules and regulations.
Develop and present a variety of technical training programs for various stakeholders associated with the program, ranging from project designers to construction contractors to owners/operators of commercial/industrial facilities.
Collect storm water samples during rain events.
Work closely with senior staff, regulators, and client representatives on multiple projects based in the office and field.
Skills/Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, or other physical science from an U.S.-accredited four-year college or university.
Excellent client-services skills.
Strong reading comprehension, technical writing skills, and verbal communication skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organization and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team setting, organize/manage multiple priorities, and conduct problem analysis/resolution.
Possessing a stormwater certification (e.g., CISEC, CPESC, CPISM, etc.) is a plus.
Proficient with PC and MS Office.
Valid drivers' license, vehicle, and vehicle insurance.
Must be able to interview in Honolulu.

Salary: $51,000 - $62,000
