Limited Hazardous Materials Survey at Dr. Arthur P. Sigrah Memorial Hospital in Micronesia

EnviroServices & Training Center, LLC (ETC) was contracted by Pryzm Consulting, LLC (Pryzm) to conduct a limited hazardous materials survey as part of Pryzm’s overall Dr. Arthur P. Sigrah Memorial Hospital rehabilitation project in Kosrae, a state in the Federated States of Micronesia. The limited hazardous materials survey was limited to six structures within the hospital campus, including the main hospital structure. A total of 254 samples of suspect asbestos containing materials and 43 composite paint chip samples were collected and analyzed as part of the survey. The final report provided detailed information regarding the location, material description, and estimated quantity of asbestos-containing materials and lead-containing paints. The report also included figures showing the locations of all samples and photographs of asbestos-containing materials.
